Just a quick note to say that I’ll be hitting the road with Rachel (and Chaely) next week. The Barnes & Noble on Atlantic Avenue in Cobble Hill / Brooklyn—right around the corner from my first apartment in New York, if anyone remembers the Pacific Street days—will be hosting a conversation and signing on Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:30 PM to celebrate Murder by Cheesecake: A Golden Girls Cozy Mystery!
That event is in-person, and I hope all of our friends in New York can make it—we probably won’t be making it back to the city for a minute and would love to see you (and your Golden Girls loving friends—please feel free to forward this email far and wide)!
If you’re elsewhere in the world, Rachel is also going to be doing a virtual event for Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, April 29th at 3PM. This event is free but ticketed… so if you think you’d like to attend, make sure you RSVP (there’s also a ticketed option to purchase a signed book)!
What else can I say, it’s been pretty wild at Courage HQ this month with Rachel’s two books publishing. Thank you to all the booksellers and librarians that have been posting pics and hand selling and hosting themed Golden Girls parties!
And thank you to everyone who’s picked up a copy of Nothing Bad Happens Here and Murder by Cheesecake (and extra-special thanks if you’re telling your friends or posting five-star reviews in all the usual spots)!
I’ll be back to my regular programming soon, but here’s Rachel’s newsletter if you’d like to subscribe there for updates:
For Pittsburgh Friends: There’s also going to be a book launch at Penguin Bookshop in Sewickley on April 26th at 5 PM. This event is free with RSVP, and you can RSVP for free here:
And we’re also going to be in Akron, Ohio on May 3rd from 2 - 4 PM!
I’m just going to share a couple of interviews and a book club kit here:
PS the audiobooks for Nothing Bad Happens Here and for Murder by Cheesecake are both fantastic, if you do audio!
More from me soon!
Your friend,
