Rachel's new book is out now... and TRENDING?
Today’s the day - thank you to everyone who’s helped spread the word and picked up a copy of Death on the Lanai (and if you’re planning to pick up a copy, or borrow one from your local library, or listen to the audiobook with one of your monthly credits - that all counts, too - thank you)!
This is going to be a short post because I’m in the parking lot at the local morning show (Rachel’s inside filming a segment with her shoulder pads and a life sized cut-outs of the Girls)… but the writing of this book coincided with so much life for us, and I’m just so excited that it’s finally out in the world!
And last night, while we were getting the house ready for bed… I started getting messages that Death on the Lanai was trending on Threads! How cool is that?
Rachel did her first event for Death on the Lanai last weekend at the Pittsburgh Book Festival—which we were incredibly honored to help sponsor, through Littsburgh… I wrote a little bit about that on my LinkedIn—and it’s so cool and life-affirming to see so many fans of the series (and, of course the Golden Girls). They’re the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, and if you’re in any of the cities that Rachel is touring over the next few weeks—for the first leg of her Death on the Lanai tour (here’s a link to Rachel’s Instagram if you’d like to help spread the word, and to her Substack for more info)—I hope you’ll be able to stop by, say “hi,” and make some new friends!
